Happy New Year 2009!

Eva Le Gallienne

In 2009 I will publish at least one book.
I will celebrate the accomplishments of fellow feminists- LOUDLY!
I will truly embrace life and my journey in it.
I will LOVE my sisters [and brothers] completely and passionately- show them through working, laughing and speaking out side-by-side!
And I will practice the five tenants of Peace, Love, Truth, Non-Violent and Right Conduct DAILY.

“…the real hope for the future of feminism: the sustained creation of communities of support, the continued bonds of sisterhood, and the never ending symbiosis between the personal and the political.”
-Emma Bee Bernstein (1985-2008)

More New Year’s Resolutions

Gracie Allen

In 2009 I will make as much fun of the Democrats as I did of the Republicans, it is only fair!
I will stop and enjoy the fact that right now things could really get better.
I will try to point out the rights that we, as women, have lost over the last 8 years in the hopes we can get them back!
I will laugh with my GGOT friends!

Happy New Year!
